About Me

During a rough period in my life, my doctor diagnosed me with depression. Along with taking an anti-depressant, I took the advice of a good friend and made some lifestyle changes. Along with eating better and getting more exercise, I also started listening to music more often. I didn't limit myself to one genre. Depending on how I felt, I would listen to everything from folk to rock to hip-hop. There was even a little classical and some jazz thrown in for good measure. Little by little, the music helped me move outside my depression and capture a few moments of truly enjoying myself. Did music cure my depression? No, but it certainly helped. If you are going through a rough time and feel that you are facing more than a case of the blues, let's talk. What worked for me could work for you too.
